nls-net -- Non Linear Science Network

About nls-net

nls-net is created and maintained by the American Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and Angel Jorba (Barcelona UB-UPC Dynamical Systems Group). It provides a free service to the community of non linear systems, by distributing to its subscribers e-mail updates on tables of contents of several international journals , announcements of meetings, new books or journals, free positions, software, etc. related to non linear dynamical systems and its applications to any field of sciences. Messages proposing open problems, or looking for collaborators for interdisciplinary projects are encouraged. The information received is filtered and sent to the subscribers as a plain text digest every two weeks. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the nls-net Archives.

Using nls-net

Only subscribers can send messages to the list. To do it send an email with your announcement, in text format, to nls-net@maia.ub.es. You will receive an e-mail from nls-net to acknowledge the reception of the message. If you do not receive this acknowledgement in, say, 24 hours, please contact us at nls(at)maia.ub.es. Due to the huge amount of spam we are receiving, messages coming from addresses that are not in the subscribers list will be silently discarded. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below. Subscriptions and submissions are free of charge.

Subscribing to nls-net

Subscribe to nls-net by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
