search syntax
Searches are case insensitive. "Keywords" can contain boolean operators and wild-cards. For example,

spin  matches documents containing "spin" or "Spin" or "SPIN", etc.

spin*  matches documents containing a word that starts with "spin", like "spin" or "spins" or "spinor".

spin ising   is a short hand for   spin or ising.

spin or ising   matches documents containing the word "spin" or "ising" or both.

spin and ising   matches documents containing both "spin" and "ising".

spin not ising   matches documents containing "spin", but not "ising".

spin not (ising glass)   matches documents containing "spin", but not "ising" or "glass".

abstract search
This category covers the title of the paper, the names of the authors as they appear in the index, and the text of the abstract.

paper search
A search in the mp_arc papers covers the entire text of the papers (for most formats), including the list of references, etc.
