The successful applicant is expected to carry out research in the area of processing and inversion of electromagnetic and magnetic data for UXO detection and discrimination and to interact with funding agencies and collaborating institutions. The applicant should have a strong background in electromagnetic and potential-field methods, geophysical inversions, and optimization techniques. Familiarity with Fourier analysis, wavelet transforms, and statistical simulation is desired.
