BIOMAT International Symposia assemble together professionals with a special interest in biological phenomena and the mathematical and Computational Biosystems. The deadline for abstract submission (maximum of two pages) to the BIOMAT 2006 Symposium has been postponed to 23th July 2006. Please visit the site www.biomat.org where you can find LaTeX and Word templates to send your abstract. Each paper will be e valuated by two members of the BIOMAT Editorial Board for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness. All accepted full papers are expected to be presented at the symposium, in a poster or oral session, according the suggestion of the Board of Referees. Selected full papers and keynote speakers contributions will be published in: "BIOMAT 2006 - International Symposium on Mathematical and Computational Biology" - by World Scientific ( http://www.worldscibooks.com/lifesci/6098.html ). Other refereed papers will appear in a book edited by the Brazilian Editor E-papers ( http://www.e-papers.com.br/produtos.asp?codigo_produto=791 ). The first two days of the symposium (Saturday and Sunday, 25-26th November) will be reserved for tutorials and mini-courses addressed to advanced undergraduate and graduate students. This introduction will be followed by four days of plenary sessions with Keynote Speakers talks and technical sessions (oral and poster) with contributed papers.
