A new call for Marie Curie fellowships has been launched and the deadline is August 14. This is a very good fellowship paid by the European union to successful applicants with PhD. It is for 2 years and it seems it is possible to get additional payment for a half a year when the fellow returns to home country. The amount of the fellowship is between 1.500 and 2000 EUR per month and it seems it is possible to get some additional money to attend conferences. The information is available at http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/dc/index.cfm?fuseaction=UserSite.PeopleDetailsCallPage&call_id=44 If you know somebody interested to apply for such fellowship to spend some time in Slovenia and in some of the topics below a) Qualitative theory of ordinary differential equations and the theory of bifurcations of plane dynamical systems. b) Symbolic computation, computational algebra and algebraic geometry. c) Hamiltonian systems from the point of view of classical, semiclassical and quantum mechanics.
