PhD position available

There is a PhD scholarship starting September 1st 2008 (flexible) in Universitat de Barcelona. The position is for 1 year and extendable to 2 years upon performance. After these, alternative funding might be available.

Candidates should preferably have a Master's degree (or equivalent level) in Mathematics, and have an interest in complex analysis and dynamical systems.

The funds come from the EU Research and Training network CODY and therefore there are restrictions for who can apply (mainly europeans not from Spain, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the last 4 years). For details check http://www.warwick.ac.uk/cody/cody-recruitment_whocanapply.html
