OSCAR AMOROS

I received the B.S degree on Computer Engineering in UB (Universitat de Barcelona), and nowadays I'm a M.S student on Artificial Intelligence at UPC, UB and URV.
I've collaborated with BSC (Barcelona Supercomputing Center) as part of my degree final project and as a student fellow in evaluating new parallel languages (CUDA and OpenCL) and also testing the integration of them with a BSC-developed pragma-based programing language.
I'm actively collaborating with researchers at the "Matematica Aplicada i Analisi" department (UB) in artificial vision research areas with GPGPU parallelization techniques and general hardware assessment, as well as developing libraries and tools (SimpleOpenCL)to facilitate programming with new parallel language standards.
Other areas of collaboration include organization of courses at UB and technology transfer (university to business) projects.
Therefore my interests are research, teaching and technology-based business projects in the areas of Artificial Vision, hardware designs and programming models, parallelism, and programing tools for scientific codes.
