Seminumerical Algorithms for Computing Invariant Manifolds of Vector Fields at Fixed Points

This chapter of the book discusses the computation of Taylor expansions of parameterizations of invariant manifolds of fixed points and of the corresponding internal dynamics. The actual implementation relies on algebraic manipulator able to perform arithmetic operations and apply elementary functions on multivariate, dense power series.

The package provided here contains the algebraic manipulator, a general routine for the computation of expansions of invariant manifolds and the reduced dynamics, and sample code for their use in the examples provided in the book: the Lorenz system and the circular, spatial restricted three-body problem.
