This is a course that will be held at the Institute of Mathematics
of the Universitat de Barcelona IMUB
of the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Informàtica.
The course will be taught by Prof. Vassili Gelfreich from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Warwick.
The Barcelona UB Dynamical Systems group would like to express their gratitude to Prof. V. Gelfreich for the opportunity to conduct this course.
The proposed series of lectures is an introduction into the quantum theory for
mathematicians that have little background in Physics but posses certain
familiarity with Functional Analysis, Algebra, Dynamical Systems in general and
Hamiltonian Dynamics in particular.
The course will be divided into four sessions scheduled on
